Hello! and Happy New Year

Oh it feels good to be back in the blogging mode again.

Here's the catchup post:

Christmas was fabulous. I loved the whole Christmas season.

My girls were busy making these cute scarves for their friends. Ashlie wasn't too sure she wanted to sew but after I told her to just try sewing one, which she did, she found out she really loves sewing.
We also did our annual gingerbread cookies. Alia and her friend Denise are modeling their Reindeer Centaur (yup, we got that creative) and below is Alia's pegasus. Christmas day
The girls helping Matthew open his presents. He got sheets for his crib for Christmas. What more do you need when you're only two months old?
Looks like he likes them...or maybe he's just happy to see his bouncy seat toys.
Ashlie wanted a horse for Christmas that was poseable...
She even felt it was important enough that she drew me a note during church and handed it to me after Sacrament Meeting.
Well, she got her horse (and a good discussion about appropriate Sacrament Meeting drawings. j/k =)
Alia and Madelyn got some roller blades which they were totally excited about. They have been roller blading every chance they get since then and are getting better and faster each time.
And we got our girls some nerf guns.
During the Christmas break Aaron was able to be home from the 23rd until the 4th of January. We really enjoyed having him home.

I got a lot of sewing time in during the Christmas break and finished Matthew's quilt. It took me another two weeks just to get the rest of the bedding done. Something about starting up school again and Aaron going back to work made my days a bit more busy. Here are the finished products though...

The quilt
I quilted it with stars on the top. I love how you can see the cute star pattern on the back of the quilt too...
Here is the rest of the bedding
Matthew approves of the new bedding.

Wow. The bedding looks beautiful (in a handsome way of coarse).
