Christmas is in the air...

We've been decorating for Christmas this past week.
Decorating the tree and ...
the finished project.

I have a lot of surface area to decorate in my living room and I'm having fun coming up with different ideas to decorate the ledges for the holidays.

Since we had just moved recently we still had some leftover empty boxes and a big newspaper end roll. With a big spool of ribbon and a few extra trimmings...ta da...cute little boxes all fancy for Christmas and a great thrifty way to decorate.
I used to never have a place to display these cute Christmas tins. Now look at how cute they are up there.
The wooden mittens are a craft I made at one of my first Relief Society Enrichment activities. Yeay for Relief Society.

I love your tree! I am waiting for Eli to be old enough to not rip the tree down before I really try to decorate it like yours. I love the colors! The mittens are awsome! Perhaps I should start attending enrichment!

Ahren,
Those decorations are so cute. How creative you are! I agree with Sara, my boys wreak havoc with our tree. We're really working on teaching them not to this year because last year was a litte out of control. They'd pull off the ornaments and throw them at the tree, trying to make a "basket" by getting the ornament to stay on the tree. Geesh. Hey, it's kind of funny that when I'm talking about destruction, the word verification word just happens to be "reckwe." How random.
