Art projects

We recently got some nice books from our library about art projects and drawing techniques for children. The first one is Ed Emberley's Picture Pie book. The book is about making pictures out of circles or parts of circles. Here are the projects my girls made from that book.

Alia's peacock
Madelyn's cardinal, ladybug, toucan and blue jay.
Ashlie got her inspiration from a book called How to draw pets by Christine Smith.

This is "Lucky" from 101 Dalmations
Ashlie's chickens and chicks.
Ashlie drew this unicorn later in the day. She was so proud of it.

Your girls are adorable! They always look so picture perfect. Those are fun pictures, tell all the girls that I will show them to Aliysa and she will be very impressed.

Alia, Madelyn and Ashlie, thank you for sharing your art with us! Was that pretty fun to do? Ashlie, you had a new hairdo-it was cute! You are all adorable artists! Ahren, we are so impressed with all the activities you provide for your children!
